A little while ago I shared my love for grays and golds with you HERE. I don't know what it is about color and metal combination, but I've always loved it and I think I always will. Here are a few sightings in my home (not including all my mirrored furniture that has both silver and gold.... ) ... a few things I spotted at our local fabulous West Elm... ... and of course some online window … [Read more...]

Right in our own back yard in Classen Curve lies this gem of a furniture store, unlike any other I've seen in my area. It's one of those places that has things that you see in fabulous interior design magazines, like Elle Decor or Veranda or Town & Country. BD Home is an upscale furniture store designed to meet the needs of those desiring unique European modern contemporary high end furnishings. Most things on the floor … [Read more...]
Greys, Grays and Golds in the Home
I've never been into the whole "matchy-matchy" thing when it comes to interior design. And I've always loved these two colors combined... gray and gold (or grey and gold, depending on where you live). I love the warmth the golds bring into a space to offset the coolness of the grey tones. There are sprinkles of this all throughout my house, but I wanted to show you some other fancies around... Some in bigger ways, other in the littlest … [Read more...]
Hollywood Regency Design Elements
Today I'm following up on a post I shared last week, a post on interior design and a certain look called Hollywood Regency. In case you missed it, here it is. I LOVE it because it's so eclectic and reflective a fab finds of what pieces and treasures we put together, plus it's a reflection of an era when life was about glam and entertaining and being social and being FABULOUS. It has a timeless, classic element to it, with a flair of over the … [Read more...]
Hollywood Regency Decor
I'll never forget a wedding I went to in Palm Springs and we stayed at the Viceroy. This was when I was prego with my son, which is about 11 years ago. Take a look at the room we were in. They look the same today as they did then… Prior to that trip, I always into Country French and loved antiques (I still do love great old pieces), but I couldn't help fall in love with the clean lines and just the simplicity and "Hollywood" it felt … [Read more...]
Coveting Coral
Coral is something I've always loved having a touch of here and there in my house. Something about it feels fresh… Donno if it's that nautical oceanic thing (I'm an ocean girl!) or what (I'm not a huge fan of nautical things, but this I love), but I've loved coral for several years now. It also adds that element of nature without adding greenery into the space. And the curves and branchiness I think balance the either curves or straight lines … [Read more...]
I love you, deer.
I'm not much of a taxidermy gal. Something about the dead animal thing on my wall kinda freaks me out. But I AM a lover of some recreated animal heads…. especially if they're sparkly and gold! …. I came across this CUTEST print from the darling Amanda at All Things Pretty... You guys know I have been polishing up my office, trying to make it my "girl cave" (leaving the dark wood in tact as much as I could), so when … [Read more...]
Spring Decor In The Home
We are officially into April and that means spring has FINALLY arrived. We can't always be outside to enjoy the lovely weather this time of year can bring, but we can certainly bring elements of the season into the home. When I think of Spring I think of new life, cheer, happiness, rejuvination, color and freshness. You can see a recent tv spot I did on KSBI52 Oklahoma Live show…. Key points to think remember: Bright … [Read more...]
This Time at Dulce…
You guys know one of my favorite hot spots for unique finds in home furnishings is a small place tucked away in one of the hip parts of Dallas called Dulce. This eclectic shop is a must visit each time I go to Dallas. The reason why I love this place is because I'll never find the same thing twice, they have things you can't find anywhere else, and frankly, it's all so unique it's just freaking awesome. Unique is key here. I think it's a … [Read more...]
White Linens
I've often said it's the little things that can make a difference in a space. Or even just one element can make or change the feel of things. I have always been a lover of white linens. When I got married, I registered white towels and bed sheets. That was a LONG time ago, and I still feel the same now as I did then. It is that single simple element of the color of your linens that can totally transform the feel of your bathroom. Think … [Read more...]
Think Pink: For the Home
In light of the upcoming holiday of lovers that's the most overrated holiday I swear (we can call it a Hallmark holiday), I'm going to be sprinkling some "PINK POSTS" for you. I love pink, so why not share it with you during it's HOT season, right? {I'm SUCH a dork!} I've been into pink quite a bit lately, and I donno what it is about it, but it's makin me happy. I've added pink slowly into my home the past year, and you can see it HERE and … [Read more...]
A Room With A View
For those who love Paris, this post is dedicated to you. Upon arrival to the city of love, I was in awe. My jaw had dropped as the driver from the airport was taking us to our apartment that we had rented for the week. This was my first time visiting Paris, and of course I had seen it photographed oodles of times, but actually being there and seeing it in person was indescribable. So, as we approach our apartment, drool begins to come out of … [Read more...]

Table Scape: How to style a coffee table
I think of the phrase "table scape" and it reminds me of watching Semi-Homemade Sandra Lee shows on Food Network and at the end of her meal she'd show her table and how she styled it. Does anyone know what I'm talkin about? Today I'm thinking of a different table scape. I'm thinking coffee tables and how to "dress … [Read more...]
