I’d like to call this a Flashback Friday post because I’m thinking back to some recent days of shopping in the mother land. And because now that my kids school has begun, it’s back to routine and the daily grind of life. Ahhhhh, the reminiscing of days of travel are good feelings, so I plan on sprinkling a bit of that here and there as an escape. After all, who doesn’t need an escape every once in a while, right?
And being that we all love the sport of shopping, I HAD to do some EXTENSIVE research for you while abroad (HA!). My greek BFF Anthoula took me to this BEAUTIFUL luxury mall (yes MALL! Greece has come a long way!) called Golden Hall . Take a peek at this place…
Unfortunately, I didn’t have as much time as I would have liked, but I DID make a stop to one of my all time favorite stores. This curious shopper had to see what Greece’s ZARA had going on, especially since SALES were going on!
….and I took advantage of them!
We had to stop for some treats at Terkenlis.
I did end up going to another great shopping center, again, not for very long (remember, these places ARE big). McArthurGlen Smart Park (yeah that’s a GREEK name… NOT!). But enough to check out some great shops (of which I plan on doing a post on) and get my FIRST ever FISH FOOTSPA!
… at the MALL! I saw the sign and said, “could it BE???” So I begged for JUST a dip with the fish, no time for more! And for 10 euro I got 10 minutes. SO fun!
Here’s a video of the second mall I took just for you!
Hope you enjoy!
Happy Friday!
