Shopping, Styling, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and Cocktails

So… first things first….

Who here could use a VACATION from VACATION? Can I see a show of hands here? Good. I’m not alone. I’m still in recovery mode from family vacation to two week-long business trips. It’s been fun, but it’s now time to get back into routine. Next week maybe? HA!

Sales. Ok. Now let’s get another few things straight. I know we ALL love a good sale, but sometimes we can get overwhelmed and bombarded from things coming at us from every direction. I promise you won’t hear me post about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (#NSALE) 24/7, but I will share a few things with you because it officially opens to everyone TODAY!
What to shop for? So I’m pulling a few things for you….

A few of my clothing boards are all inspired from my own style….

First, since it’s over 100 degrees here in Oklahoma City, yes, I’m still in summer vacation mode. Many of you still plan on taking summer trips, so I’ve pulled some beach vacation basics.

I also pulled up cover ups for you. No, they’re not all from the #NSALE but I felt like beautiful cover-ups never go out of style. There’s something about going downstairs for breakfast wearing your swimsuit and cover-up, flip flops, and still feel like you’re “dressed up”. You feel lovely. Does that make sense to you? No need to wear the baggy tee-shirt and moo-moo that isn’t lovely. Let’s be beautiful with our moo-moos! HA! But not only that, how nice to be able to put it back on and go to a nice lunch and still be swim and beach wear BUT at the same time feel “dressed up.”

Many of these I’ve pulled for you can be worn even as a standalone dress, not a swimsuit cover up.
