Faux bois is French for "fake wood". I'm seeing more and more "fake wood" patterns in interiors... from rugs to wallpapers to furnishings, to home accessories. Patterns don't have to just occupy fabrics, rugs, window treatments. Bold patterns with contrasting colors can make such a statement when they are on major furniture pieces in a room.
