Classics are classics because they are just that. You can never go wrong by putting together some classic pieces and look stylish and look put together no matter what the occasion. Dress it up or down with your accessories and tweak it to your liking and your personal style. But in my opinion, a crisp white shirt and simple black skirt is one of my can’t-go-wrong outfits every girl needs in her wardrobe.
My key to take it from OK to WOW is 2 things…
- Add fabulous unique accessories.
- Select your black and white skirt/pants/shirt to have some element of uniqueness and detail that sets it apart from a completely plain piece. That gives it a little bit of pop while still keeping the simplicity of the combination.
My skirt has a subtle pattern to it and my shirt has gold studs for the buttons.
