I’ve lived in my home for 16 years this November. I’ve updated slowly, in stages, changed various rooms around, flipped dining for living and living for dining, random things like that. One of the biggest things in view when walking into a foyer is the chandelier. It can be quite a statement piece. Well, the time has come for updating mine.
Foyer now…..
Chandelier I’m obsessing over to go in it’s place….
It’s 7 feet tall! Jeez Loueez! I need to call some special electrician who has a pretty tall ladder to take care of this. I’m loving the sleekness of this, simple lines, and of course it has to has some GOLD element, right?
Sometimes all it takes is changing ONE element in an area to give it a whole new feel. It could be a new dining set that I switched my dark brown wood Bernhardt table and chairs for the glass table and brass chairs (and the stardust ones), which gives my whole kitchen area a new feel… Or changing my barstools from the bar… again one element changed giving it a whole new look. For you it could be simply changing a wall color, or a coffee table, or maybe even a picture on the wall. It doesn’t have to be major or expensive to make it just the right touch to give it a whole new look and feel.
Do you have any areas you want to redo, but maybe just changing out one element could be all it takes?
So what do you think? A nice update for my foyer? Pics to come with the finished product. Fingers and toes crossed that it looks good!
