Three Winners Christmas Giveaway
Now, onto the main order of business. It’s 5 o’clock somewhere, right?
For those of my new friends on The OP Life, every Friday we celebrate with cocktails. I call it Fuzzy Friday. We celebrate all of our wins, the challenges we overcame, the end of the week, the upcoming weekend, and LIFE!
This week, I’m toasting to bringing back the old with the new. With the release of the new Star Wars movie this week, I can’t help but feel a bit nostalgic. I have to admit I’m not the BIGGEST Star Wars obsessed person, but I do live with some who are. And I do get the warm fuzzies thinking about when I was a kid, standing in line to see the movie the day it came out. It’s kinda fun to be able to say I did that! (yup, I AM that old!).
So in honor of The Two Forces, I present The Dark and The Light side, a Star Wars Cocktail (s) (Kinda like the Pantone color of the year, but it’s really 2…. )
It’s a simple twist on the Black Russian and White Russian.
The Two Forces: The Dark Side and The Light Side
For The Dark Side:
- Vodka
- Kahlua
- Coffee
For The Light Side:
- Vodka
- Frangelico
- Cream (or milk)
Pour ice in your glass. Add a shot of vodka, then the liquors (Kailua for The Dark Side and Frangelico for The Light Side), then top with the cream or coffee.
Notice this isn’t a measure cocktail. {huge grin}
If you’re having any kind of Star Wars themed parties, this is the perfect drink, and it’s nothing too odd or different, pleasing to many because of the flavors of the coffee, hazelnut, creaminess, all so good. Set up some action figures, and the best and most fun part of this…
I used GLOW STICKS for stirrers!
May the the force be with you!
