Several weeks ago, our local boutiques from Classen Curve and Nichols Hills Plaza (part of Western Avenue) put on a fall fashion show and it was so fabulous. You can recall it HERE and HERE. I was supposed to wear shorts and boots. Well, I got word that I would be one of the emcees that evening, which made me rethink my dress for the evening. I wanted to wear something fashionable for SURE since after all, it IS a fashion show. But, I didn’t want to go too overboard, and knowing it would be in the 90’s that evening, I thought best reconsider my attire. So I ended up wearing a different dress, and I talked about HERE. But PLAN A, was for me to wear this fun playful little number that I’m showing you here today.
Of course my daughter looked at me and said, “Mom??? Do you think you should be wearing that???” I said, “Excuse me? Ummmmm… why not?” Giving me another hint that I’m not as young as I might feel or think I am! HA!
On A Whim put together a fabulous ensemble for me, rabbit vest from Elizabeth & James, silk and lace blouse and will shorts from Alice + Olivia, boots from Joie.
I was having way too much fun in this little getup. … and the over the knee boots stayed with me. {wink!}
