Over the Knee Boots

I think over the knee boots is probably THE buzz word when I think of boots for the fall and winter this season. Sooooo… being that I DO love shoes and boots (twist my arm already!), I splurged and got a pair by Joie from On A Whim that seemed to fit my “age” (so I was told by the people that I reside with! HA!)

Of course there I’m wearing it with a fun little skort, but that’s definitely not the only way to wear these hot boots.

You can wear them with skinny jeans, leggings, skirts, shorts…. (of course I’ve been warned I can’t be a hoochi-mama mama, hence why you don’t see me too often in shorts with them and for SURE not over the knee heels!). … Remember I wear mostly heels, but in this instance, I chose the flats…. even though you KNOW I’m dying for a pair of heels, right? {wink!} Donno if I can pull it off…

Here are a few I’ve picked out for you to shop. I’ve chosen simple black because it’s the smartest investment because of it’s versatility. Some of them are really very reasonably priced, and of course some are for sure splurges! {wink!}
