Girls Shopping Day Out

What a SUPER fun day I had today! I had the pleasure of getting invited to participate in a Shopping Tour segment for Nosey Parker on Discover Oklahoma. Nosey Parker OKC is a mystery shopping sleuth in the Oklahoma City metro area for all the best local services, restaurants and shopping. One of the services Nosey offers is a girls day out, a fun shopping tour throughout the city for you and your girlfriends. You select what type of shops you’re interested in visiting, and you and the girls are chauffered around town in a limo for a “best of” tour, served a yummy lunch, and have a SUPER fun day! Isn’t that a SUPER FAB idea? … Well, I got to do JUST THAT today!!

I snapped a few shots at each stop we made. The first was at Kokopelli in Northpark Mall. I love the details on some of the great pieces I found. Check out the gold sequins elbow patches on the navy/white striped wrap. And those gold buttons on that chevron-type sweater! From day to night, you can find something for the stylish hip conservative woman.

Next stop, Keedo. Keedo is full of FUN unique kids clothing from newborn to mid-teen. Very unique brands and styles not carried by department stores. If you want show stoppers on your little ones, this IS the place to go. Not to mention GREAT accessories that could go even for mom! Juicy Couture phone cases, iPad covers and purses cover their accessory shelves. My daughter got all her adornments for her locker at school here…. including a chandelier for it! Have you EVER????

Next stop, Closet Moxie! Another fun clothing and accessory shop that has very unique pieces at prices that won’t break your bank! I picked up a few goodies here myself! Here are a few things that stood out to me… Like that little gold shimmery type mini-skirt that we see all over Pinterest? Yeah, here’s one like those…. TO DIE FOR! Amazing flared pants that are SO unique… Fashions that are hip, fashionable, not over the top trendy, but very HOT, bold prints and patterns and rich colors.

The owner has a DEFINITE eye for putting things together. In fact, she offers something called Closet Innovation, where she comes into your closet and helps you put things together that you might have never thought of. Basically a CLOSET MAKEOVER utilizing as much of your OWN things as possible, adding a few pieces from her shop. BRILLIANT!

Our next stop? The Lime Leopard, also in Northpark Mall. I’ve shopped this store for YEARS! Has AMAZING fashions that appeal to the younger women but also very stylish trendy styles that the moms of the young women would equally love. Day to night, The Lime Leopard has you covered! Not only do they have AMAZING fashions that are very reasonably priced, they have FANTASTIC accessories to accompany them. And while youre shopping for yourself, pick up a few gifts along the way, from stationary to home goods. Take a peek at their website for those non-okies. I think you’ll LIKEY!

Our final shop, Emory Anne Interiors, was acroos town. So we were served a YUMMY lunch from Rococo’s in our plush limo. A warm and inviting shop filled with great interiors and wonderful gifts. Immediately when we walked in, the whiff of the soy candles swept us away! And they weren’t even lit!!! Custom interior services available with a room full of fabrics to choose from for those clients. From great art work, sofas, gifts, a place that you’ll definitely want to come back to again!
