I don’t know why I’m feeling Frenchy, but I am. I took those pictures on vacation a couple of summers ago in Paris (pre fancy camera!). Yesterday I posted about the Parisian doors (see that HERE). Today I’m sharing a Parisian drink. The Frenchy. Clever, huh? I didn’t make it up, but it DOES put good use out of that fancy pear vodka we used a few weeks ago, remember HERE? Well, with a simple change of one of the juices, bam, we have a whole new drink with a whole different taste. This is SOOOOO good! I loved that one, but I love this one, too!
Decisions!
Oh pear vodka, what you’re doing to me! You’ve got me torn now!
HA! Nonetheless, still a simple drink, and a pretty one, too. I have my moods when I want fancy and complicated…. and when life is hectic, I want yummy, fast and easy. Who’s with me? This is the latter.
The Frenchy
- 1 1/2 oz Pear Vodka
- 3 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1 oz Cranberry Juice
Fill glasses with ice. Add vodka and pineapple juice. Top with a splash of cranberry juice.
I can see this being a great thing to serve with friends coming over for appetizers, especially some kind of cheese and fruit assortment. The flavors I think would compliment it nicely. Or, if you have all of these ingredients around, just make one for you for whatever. HA!
Seriously, I’m toasting to you and all your wins. And mine. I call it survival and balancing, because we all do it, right? Kids, work, home, family, stuff, stuff and stuff! Some weeks better than others. Some more challenging. But we get through them. So I’m toasting to all of us for making things happen and pressing through the busy challenging days… because that’s been my world!
Happy Weekend!
