Like fashion, I like two extremes of cocktails, in case you haven’t figured out by now. One, I like things pretty fancy, meaning let’s do something different, line the rim with something creative, and make it bling. Or two, I like things as simple and easy as they get, just throwing something together really fast. Well, this SUPER yummy drink is part one and two. Yes, it’s only 3 ingredients and SUPER easy to throw together, but one of these ingredients you might not have readily on hand.
Trust me. It’s worth the investment.
This one calls for a few fruit juices and pear vodka. Most of us don’t have pear vodka laying around in our bars or bar cart, but here’s the deal. One, if you love this drink, you’ll make it again and again. It’s SO good, and you’ll use it. Two, if you’re planning on entertaining at all this fall, this is a nice cocktail to serve to your guests that’s something different and a little will go a long way, so it’s worth having to make multiple drinks.
Like I said, it’s worth it. The combination of all these fall fruits makes this one a super star for me.
Fall Harvest Vodka
- 2 ounces pear vodka
- 2 ounces apple juice
- 2 ounces cranberry juice
Fill an old fashioned glass to the rim with ice cubes. Pour the vodka over ice, and top off with apple juice and cranberry juice. Garnish with a lime wedge.
Super simple. Right?
So what are we celebrating this week? For me, I’d say cheers to balancing it all! That is a feat in and of itself. Who’s with me on that?
