Since the holidays are just about here, we all know that means time to get shopping for our friends and family. Am I right? I’m all about saving money, getting a good deal, and of course getting GREAT stuff! (both for myself AND for gifts for others) I’ve talked about this place HERE before, but I think we need a review lesson, like NOW.
So here’s what happened this weekend. I am searching my son’s closet for long sleeve shirts for school, I’m thinking DO I NOT HAVE ENOUGH FOR HIM? So… instead of going OUT (which we were in the middle of cold-I-don’t-wanna-go-out weather), I go online to shop for a few more, plus another run around dress for me. And this is what I got in my email box….
Pretty saweet, huh? $8.03 cash back. Not too shabby for a purchase of like $140?
I’m here to help you put money in your pockets AND make your life more hassle-free.
So… here’s the dealio…. For REAL. Like $8 here, $4 there, before I know it, I’ll have a $50 check and then some coming my way.
Who wants to battle the crowds at the mall and deal with annoying drivers??? NOT me.
Who thinks it’s SUPER easy to have things just shipped to your door so you don’t have to leave your house??? ME!
Here are just a FEW great retailers that you might use thru Ebates…
(which last time I checked, Ebates was giving 8% back to you from Neiman’s…. do the math on that!)
Which BY THE WAY… I JUST got an email from them saying they have a HUGE sale going on right now… for like an extra 40-60% off EVERYTHING??? Only November 26 – 27th… (PLUS a rebate from Ebates on TOP of that savings???? HELLLOOOOOO????)
(Ok…. confession. I get all my paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, mouth wash, and some other things that I can avoid getting at the grocery store at Soap.com. Soap.com is my STAPLE website. Those big bulky items, yup. No Sam’s. No Costco. Soap.com baby. Delivered to my door. No hauling in and out of my trunk. Am I lazy? Probably. But so what! It’s free shipping. And an Ebate to go with it. Oh yeah. I’m liking it.)
So how do you get this sweet REBATE every time you shop?
Register HERE. It’s free, too. Seriously you guys.
One thing to remember…. you MUST log in to your Ebates account, search for the store you want, and let it link you up THERE for it to get you that rebate. If you just go directly on your browser to your store without going THRU Ebates, you can kiss your rebate goodbye. So don’t forget that. But seriously???? It’s not rocket science people.
Save yourself the hastle. If you’re store is not local and you’re going anywhere online, take a look to see if they’re on Ebates and get some money back. That extra cha-ching will be pretty saweet!

I really prefer to keep my money in my local community. Even shopping at national stores located in the state provide sales tax income that is not provided by shopping on the web (yet). Don’t forget that local businesses supported your daughter when she was starting her own company. Let’s support our local businesses.

I TOTALLY agree 100%! I think as much of the shopping we can do local, I’m all for it! In fact, so ironic you shared your thoughts because I said to myself after I posted this that I SHOULD have stated in the beginning of my post how to remember to keep it local. But for those purchases NON-local, here you go. Thank you for sharing!

There’s a reason I read your blog, and it’s because you are real. Thanks for clarifying your post. After all, it’s not as if I never use the web to buy things, and my sister has been trying to get me to use ebates for years. I use Upromise that puts rebates back into my granddaughter’s college fund.

Thanks Mary! 🙂

Thanks! I think it’s about balance for sure. I love so many locals and wish I could talk about them all! I do when I can and love to share esp on social media. We do what we can to accommodate those near and far, both for my daughter’s business as well as on the blog. Thanks for chiming in!
xoxo
