I came across this great interview on Makers I couldn’t help butshare with my readers today. You know I love fashion, I love style, and part of that is classic femininity that no matter what era or time we’re in, it’s IN. Such is that of the designs of Diane Von Furstenberg. I remember shopping with my mom as a young girl at Marshall Fields and her wearing these beautiful dresses. They flowed and showed her hourglass figure. I loved watching my mom get dressed up, put on her make-up, fix her long beautiful locks of hair. And this designer was a part of that. So, several years ago, I recall going shopping and my jaw dropped when I saw this name on the label that took me back to childhood. I was so excited and I called mom to say OMG YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAW!!! REMEMBER THAT DESIGNER DVF??? SHE’S BACK!!! Who would think that a designer would bring “warm fuzzy” feelings inside. But, she did just that for me.
Just like her, her styles are timeless, feminine, classic, and yet follow the trends all in one sweep. Not all designers can say that. But if you look at her, you’ll see that she has this gorgeous elegance, grace, and style that has remained throughout the years. What I love most about her fashions is the fabrics she chooses…. the bold prints, the drapey fabrics, they are all fabulous. I have several of her blouses, dresses and even shoes… love em all like crazy! I will NEVER get rid of them! If you haven’t been introduced to the fashions of Diane VonFurstenberg, let me do the honors of giving you a glimpse of her style.

Thank you Diane for coming back into the world of women’s fashions, for having that beautiful sense of style, and for giving me those “warm fuzzy’s” taking me back to my childhood with my mom.
