Beach Waves

School starts this week {{{{hoooooray!!!}}}}. I can part with the heat, but, as all of you know I love the beach, I can’t part with summer JUST yet. I love the natural glow of the summer and with that the relaxed tousled hair. I want my hair to look like THIS all the time…

Those “unfixed” beach waves… waves and curls that don’t look so fixed. How to get that look? First you need a curling iron. I prefer mostly a wide barreled iron, but you can make it any size. The larger the barrel, the larger the waves.

Barrel curls can be made with any size curling iron and are done horizontally from the top of the head going down the hairline. Have a your favorite styling product in your hair so it would hold the best. And even day old washed hair will hold even better than freshly washed hair! Take small sections and go through the crown of the head all around the sides. Spritz with your favorite spray when you’re done with the curls. Run your fingers through your hair. Super simple.
