Rita and I had met LONG ago when our boys were in a toddler program and after that our boys took separate paths for school and Rita and I had lost touch. But not long ago, we were reconnected thru a mutual friend, and through the awesomeness of social media I found here again, and BOY was I excited! You’ll see why I was biting my nails to introduce her to you!!!
Meet Rita Ortloff. I stumbled across her and her work on instagram and I was beside myself. Those of you who know me know that when I love something with all my heart, I’ll let you know! And I come right out and say, “LET ME SHARE YOU WITH THE WORLD!” Rita’s art is one of those things.
Only painting since November, her business is booming. So much so that she can’t keep inventory on her Etsy shop! She began by doing something for a friend, and it just snowballed from there. This wasn’t something she was really LOOKING to do, but she just began, and it has slowly taken on a life of its own.
That’s a good problem to have, right?

Here’s mine I’m SO in love with… it’s in my office that I posted yesterday HERE. (I still am in the process of accessorizing the place, but I was too excited to not share it “almost” complete!)
I haven’t decided yet if I will flank it with something on either side, if I do a gallery wall, or how it’s going to work on my wall, but I LOVE it and it makes me TOTALLY smile!
