Even though fall isn’t officially here, I’m beginning to think about fall and fashion and what my wardrobe will entail. Two things I think are must haves and are things we’re going to see lots of are pencil skirts and bomber jackets.
Pencil skirts aren’t anything new this season. They’ve been around for several years, but they’re so flattering and so slenderizing, it’s something to have in your closet. Wear it to work, wear it to dinner, wear it on date night, but you’ll want to wear it.
The bomber jacket I think is SO fun and so cool! I got several actually this summer, but I haven’t worn any yet, because how can I in 90’s and 100 degree temperatures! It’s a retro look that back in my day, was known for the “Members Only” jackets. Who remembers those? Well, get these, layer them with fun graphic tees, a top a little longer, and it makes for a great transitional piece. You’ll see more posts with more bomber jackets coming soon!
I paired this sleek sexy pencil skirt from Oz and Otz (I got the pleasure of meeting beautiful Princess, from LA, while traveling in Grand Cayman) with a contrasting pink bomber jacket and a graphic tee. Funny story that tee…. I got that last year from Target to wear for the opening of the new Star Wars movie! Isn’t that hysterical? I brought in a little wild twist with my fire hot Prada clutch.
