Keeping it real, I’ve been MIA. Have you noticed? The past few weeks have been SO crazy… but, I have to really truly keep it real, which is living On Purpose, and that means sometimes SHIFTING what I’m doing. We’ll get to that in a bit.
Do you toast to yourself? Do you celebrate all that you do? All of the little things that can be challenging in life? Or perhaps really big wins and goals you’ve achieved? I’m not talking about being boastful. I’m talking about simply celebrating YOU. Do you take the time to do that?
That’s what #FuzzyFriday is all about. Celebrating YOU. Whether you choose a cocktail like I feature every week, or champagne, because champagne is best for toasting, or even if it’s in little ways as in buying yourself flowers. YOU need to celebrate YOU.
Ok so back to the business of mixology!
Mommy slushies.
So back to me being MIA. And I finally am here. School is finally BACK in session and I have to admit. This summer has been a challenge with all kinds of schedules and craziness. My lack of focus has been sky high… not because I’m so “busy” (jeeeez don’t we hate that word!), but it’s because I’m not down long enough with quiet time to think. And realizing then that it won’t be long till they’re gone. I shared a very personal video about it in my private group HERE. (Have you joined yet? If not, you’re missing some GOOD stuff!) AND because I have some EXCITING things up my sleeves for all of you I can’t WAIT to launch.
YES you read right… I am launching some new things VERY soon! as in … MONDAY!!!!!
So as a mommy and entrepreneur, it’s definitely cocktail time!
A few weeks ago I shared the Frose’ HERE. This week, we’re taking the Mojito to a whole new level. We’re serving it up slushy style.
Mojito Slush
- 1/2 c. rum
- 1 c. simple syrup
- 1/2 c fresh lime juice
- 1/4 c. fresh mint leaves
- ice
In a blender, combine rum, simple syrup, lime juice and mint leaves. Add ice. Pulse, then blend on high until lime-mint slush is smooth. Pour drinks into large cocktail glasses using a long handled spoon. Garnish with a mint sprig and or a lime slice.
So, what are we toasting to this week?
For me, I’m toasting to celebrating my kids, back in school, and my never ending ability to come up with new ideas, which means I’m launching something SO cool on MONDAY! HA!
Ok loves! Go enjoy the weekend!
