I shared with you some of my travel essentials HERE, but what I didn’t really elaborate on is THE BAG. The bag is HUGE. I mean, ladies, let’s face it, our bags are huge with NO travel. So when we TRAVEL and have to have all of our gear and s**t in it, you KNOW it has to be big, roomy, and make a statement! When I tell you what my ULTIMATE bag is, you’ll die. Are you ready?
A DIAPER bag. Yes. You read that right. You don’t have to be a mama to have one, and no, I’m not talkin the Winnie The Poo kind. I’m talking, stylin mama kind. Let’s take a look at a few and then I’ll make my case to you…
Does THIS look like a diaper bag to you?
I didn’t think so. Or how about this?
A little fancier, yes…. but, it’s a DIAPER BAG!
So why do I love diaper bags? Because here is all the s**t I carry, and I donno about you, at least in the beginning, I want to be able to find all my stuff AND have it semi-organized. My wallet, my travel documents, my phone, my camera, my JEWELS, drugs, small cosmetic bag with my lip stuff, my mini scope, my mini perfume, gum, wipes, poo pouri spray, sunglasses. I THINK that might cover it. So you get my drift… And WHY the DIAPER bag? Not only the ROOM, but also the pockets. Think about it…
Those side pockets PERFECT for a bottle of water and your sunglasses… you don’t have to have THIS
to have THIS.
And it doesn’t have to have an expensive label to do the job either. I’m lovin this Le Sport nylon bag, partly for the cool color, partly for the pockets, and a lot for the great nylon fabric that I wont fret over getting it soiled from placing it down in airports or the airplane.
I’m loving these two but they must be older… can’t find them anywhere… (don’t you hate that???)

So chime in. If it looked stylish to match YOUR style (and remember, no Winnie the Pooh’s!) would you carry a diaper bag as a travel bag (having NO baby in arm)? Am I over practical? (is it because I’m getting older? HA!)

I’ve considered a stylish diaper bag as my travel bag too. After I realized how many pockets those things have…they’d be perfect to safely carry all of my camera gear and everything else I need!
