A year ago today, my daughter had the day off from school. I went to a parent teacher conference.
A year ago today, I went shopping with my daughter and met this lovely lady.
A year ago today, I took my daughter for a girls lunch date.
A year ago today, I spoke of these girls to my daughter during that lunch.
A year ago today, I told my daughter (for not the first time) to DREAM BIG. I said there is NOTHING you CAN’T do. DREAM BIG and with my help, I will guide you to follow your dreams.
A year ago today, I called this gal who probably thought I was nuts when she heard my voicemail. {“Um, Hi! I’d love to visit with you regarding my daughter. She wants to start a lip balm company and we’d like to explore the possibility of hiring you. Oh yeah… she’s 12.”}… I called her during that lunch, too.
Today…. One year later, the TV crew is coming over to film a segment on Honestly Margo™, this business that my daughter created (with the help of others, including myself, of course). Today. That is happening. Today.
and this just happened…
A holiday collaboration with Honestly Margo™ and Emi-Jay.
All in a year.
And because this is Thursday, this couldn’t be more appropriate as a Throwback Thursday kinda post. So really the moral of the story is this…
This is just one example of how anyone can do anything they want. They just have to want it bad enough. There is nothing to stop you from becoming what you dream of other than YOU.
If there is something you’re wanting to accomplish for yourself, to change for yourself, to achieve, who’s to say you CAN’T? You most CERTAINLY can!
A year ago today… wow.
Happy Throwback Thursday! {wink}

Thank you to both of you sweet ladies!! I’ve been blessed with 2 incredible sharp loving kind children. As a parent, I just do what I HOPE is best and pray everything else turns out ok! There is no manual in parenting as we do what we instinctively feel what’s right. Your words are SO kind! Thank you for your love and support!
