There are two things I seriously get comments all the time. One, my eyebrows. Two, my hair.
And two things I obsess over (well there are a couple more, but when it comes to my personal care and grooming) are my hair and skin. If we have a good hair day and a good skin day, nothing else matters, right?
So today we’re talking hair. I thought I’d share some of my routine and regimen and some of my secrets on having these locks look like they do. I’m about to divulge a couple of secrets. The first being today, right here, right now. Ready?
I also feel a little brilliant if I do say so myself because I came across this fabulous trick several years ago as well. If you want beachy soft waves, that semi-messy, semi-fixed, tousled look, that even if it’s windy out, it can’t mess it up look, then this is for you. Throw in a little bit of Farah Fawcett as well, because I always wanted to look like her growing up! (Does that date me?)
Here you go:
Stick your hair in a bun with a hair rubber band. Loop it through but not all the way. Place it atop of your head, kinda near the crown area. Voila. Wake up. Take it down. Toss your head a bit. Done. You might need to touch up a few ends perhaps bit for the most part, but if your running to carpool and get stuck somewhere, you’ve got fabulous hair! That’s it.
So this is Part 1 of one of the secrets to the hair I have. Sleeping in a bun on top of my head. It is cute? hmmmm… Is it sexy? Probably not? That’s subjective! {wink!}
