As an American society, I think we are all so caught up in what we look like on the outside.  I won't deny I love to look good.  I always have and always will.  I mean who doesn't like to look good, because in your mind if you think you look good, you'll FEEL good.  And part of that comes with the feeling we get when we dress ourselves and dress our hair and faces.
