You guys know I love to find great finds. I’m always building upon my wardrobe with my “investment” pieces, looking for those classics that will never go out of style, and still look modern and fresh. Such was the case when I came upon this cream tweed coat by Karolina Zmarlak at Liberte’.
Yes, I did just talk about her style yesterday. Well, I splurged on this beautiful coat on sale. It’s seriously SO amazing, I can’t even tell you. I layered it with a simple classic Theory blue and white pinstripe shirt I picked up at CK and Company. The black leggings and booties are basics that pair perfectly with this, giving it a little sleeker look.
It’s the little details that make the simplest pieces in your wardrobe pop. So when you’re shopping, look for details that make those pieces stand out from the rest in the crowd. Like the pop of gold on my booties (which The Mister says they look like elf booties), the ribbon detail on the tweed coat, the faux leather patches on the black pants.
