You read that right. Who doesn’t want beautiful legs and a beautiful tush?
Right now, my right knee is sounding like a bowl of rice crispies… Snap, crackle, POP! Ugh.. it’s totally discusting. If you capped your hand over my knee, you’d think that my knee cap is all crumbled up into tiny pieces and it’s all just kinda FLOATING in there. What’s up with that??? Well, I believe it is due to years of lunges. Lots of em. Like laps around my gym, holding 10 lb weights per arm while doing them. Insane, right? But I DID have a great rear and not too bad legs. This was about 9 years ago. I was a workout queen. I’ve sloooooowly and gradually slowed down and slacked because life got in the way and I quit making ME a priority.
The day this post is reaching your email box, I am going to check out this knee. This GROSS sounding PAINFUL knee. I thought I was going to DIE from pain on my flight back from Europe this past summer. Over 2 hours at a right angle, my knee is causing me pain like an old lady. What the heck HAPPENED to me?
Lunges. That’s what happened to me. I’m not a fitness expert, and I’m not a personal trainer, and I’m not a medical expert, but I believe years of lunges caused strain on me knee. It is one of the BEST exersizes for the whole leg, but it has its downsides. Thus, snap, crackle, pop!
So I did some homework to find some great workouts that would be EASY on my knees. I swear, I feel like an old lady as I write this to you! LOL! But it’s the TRUTH! I wanted to share this with you in case you’re looking to work your lower half without the harshness it has on your joints. Trust me, I feel like your mom when I say, “BE CAREFUL!!! You might pay for it later!” Because boy am I!
You don’t need a gym membership to do these. I’m going to start doing these (as long as the good doctor says OK!). Take a look at this GREAT video to get GREAT legs and a NICE **S! {wink}
