Wrapping up some thoughts and images of Paris for you. A few final pictures that captured some of the uniqueness and beauty this fabulous city had to offer…
Look at that fantastic display at Galleries Lafayette for the swimwear department.
I fell in love with all the darling flower shops on the streets.
I was so taken with all the beautiful architecture and ironwork. All of the buildings are so old and the people there have respect for them. They haven’t been vandalized and destroyed, but very much preserved. This view is a shot of the apartment we rented, just a few short blocks from the Eiffel Tower.
This…
and this….
make for FUN transportation!
The magnificent details everywhere I turned left me speechless….
I loved all the DARLING cute little dogs everyone had on leashes everywhere. I wasn’t quick enough to capture more, but here are a few right outside our apartment….
And at the end of the day, a place we became all too familiar with….
A place that became our second home, the METRO…. and just to let you know, I’m proud to say we didn’t get lost not even ONCE because I’m CHIEF captain, and I NEVER get lost! {wink!}
I took lots of pictures, all with different purposes… if only you could see… some for family albums, some for Instagram, some for Facebook, and of course lots for the blog, here that I had to sift thru. I didn’t want to bore you with tons of museum pics because I have tons, and more from shops too, but Paris, I can’t wait to see you again. A city full of history in such a small area, with such charm and beauty, there is so much left to do that I had intended on. Not enough hours in the day. I will do those things on my next visit to see you… but, till we meet again, au revoir Paris!
Now… off to this very special place…
Yia sas!!
