Ya ya we’ve heard them all, and ya ya… I talk about that stuff.. a LOT. Why? Because I believe in that shit. I do. So much so that I taught my daughter to believe that shit. And WAY back when (not that long ago) she started a little business out of our kitchen that is now a full fledged big company that keeps going and keeps growing.

Wait what?

Ya. My little girl had a big dream, and I said to her these exact words: Why CAN’T that be you?

The rest is history.

So this week, I’m out of office, out of THIS office, of The OP Life, but I’ve checked into the Honestly Margo office in Atlanta helping this Teen CEO grow her company. You can find me there, supporting this little girl with a big dream.

In case we hadn’t met till recently, I’ll share a bit of the background on this story. My daughter created her own lip balm formula, wanted to start a business, and that’s what she did along with my help. The formula is absolutely amazing, and this cold weather is JUST the time for it! Since launching her simple line, she has expanded into certified organic tinted lip balms and a vapor balm that is a Godsend for headaches and stress. Point of all this being, ya, all those cheesy thoughts and phrases… guess what? They’re true. Every one of them. Every bit of it. It’s real. And if you believe it to be true, it will be true. It’s all up to YOU. If an 11 year old can do it, so can you.
