I can’t tell you the sleepless nights I’ve had with keeping this on the down low. I had a surprise up my sleeve for 6 months now and today was the day. In case you missed it, someone had a birthday and the day had come where it was all goin down. No tricks here…. ALLLLLLLL treats!
So isn’t it every girls dream to see their music idol in concert? For me it was Duran Duran. For my lil girl, who is not so little anymore, Justin Bieber. The chances of him being in concert anywhere remotely close to us on the day OF her birthday? Slim to none. So I had to take advantage of this rare opportunity, and splurge. Splurge because she is a great student, does love on her brother, and truly is just a great kid.
So after going, after her screaming beyond screaming, crying, yelling out to Justin “I’m HERE!!!” (like he could hear!), I’d say Operation Birthday Surprise went down pretty good!

Notice her phone cover she got along with her tshirt? It was a ZOOOOOO! Lil brother is quite excited he has blood ties to this chic at the moment…. he gets to coast on her “greatness” through all this! HA! And a fun 2 day trip for him! lol!! Although Mr. Casanova was feeling much like a minority amongst the crowd of infested females!
Why make such a big deal about this to share with all of you lovies? Well, it goes back to that giving something that no one can repay you for (well, so-so! I CAN always tell her, “remember when I did ALL that for your 12th birthday??? lol!). To give something to someone so memorable, so meaningful, that will be forever with them and to know that you made a difference in their lives. Did I make a difference in her life by taking her to a concert? Nah. But, I think the way it all went down? Pretty fun to let her know I was thinking about her allllllll along for the past 6 months that I’ve had these tickets. The element of surprise and the thought behind it made it hopefully one of the most memorable days for her.
So then lovies, Trick or Treat! Don’t get TOO sick off of that candy today! I was going to talk to you about some healthy thoughts and the holiday, but nah! I had to do this! Tight lipped for SO long, I had to spill the beans!

Irene you are so funny! OMG she is totally taping they entire experience. I know she enjoyed it. My daughter is also the love of my life. She’s my best buddy. You will see on her youtube channel all her adventure with me. I took her to Fashion Week in New York for her birthday courtesy of the grand parents.
Now THAT is birthday gift! WOW! I just told my daughter about it and she said, “LIKE MERCEDES BENZ FASHION WEEK??????” 🙂 Are the grandparents looking to adopt any children and grandchildren? hahah
