Mother’s day is going to creep up around the corner before you know it and one thing you don’t want to be is STUCK like a deer in the headlights thinking to yourself, OMG, I forgot to get her anything.
So let’s get started on this little love fest of mom early, shall we?
First let me begin by saying as a mom, this is the ONE day of the year that I can milk it.
You read that right. Milk it ladies. We do all this sh*t for them all year long. This day is OUR day. I’m not necessarily saying breakfast in bed, but if that’s your thing, request it. I’m saying whatever is THAT THING you want most, ASK for it. For me I’d say, “Don’t ask me for anything. PLEASE don’t ask me to do anything. Please keep quiet. Please leave me alone. Please empty the dishes out of the dishwasher… and put them in their CORRECT place. Oh… and please don’t talk to me. BUT… kids, please cuddle with me, one under each armpit, all cozy, in my bed, so I can smell you (after you’ve showered), and you must NOT complain. I want to cuddle with you for as long as I want and when I’m done, you’re free to leave.
That’s my request for mother’s day. Is that bad?
Now, as far as stuff, things, gifts, us moms love gifts too. We’ll never turn away a fabulous gift! So here are some things I think any mom may love. Myself included!
