I don’t know if it’s because I’m trying to get back in the swing of things or not, but it seems I’m gravitating towards coffee (because of THIS post earlier this week…). Maybe it’s my subconscious nudging me!
Whatever it is, tis the season for cold weather drinks. We need something to warm us up, right? Well, here’s a classic that’s a no fail idea. For today’s #fuzzyfriday I’m serving up Irish Coffee.
I even got my sweet daddy to try it!
Irish Coffee
- Irish Whiskey
- Coffee
- Sugar
- Whipped Cream
Put a tbs of sugar in your coffee mug. (If you prefer your coffee sweeter, add more. Tweak it to your liking.) Add your hot coffee. Then add 1 1/2 oz. of whiskey (or more or less!). Leave a bit of room at the top for the whipped cream.
This is perfect for a crowd if you make a pot of coffee or perfect for just one or two, using the single serve coffee pots. But it’s classic, well loved, no fail treat on a cold winter’s night.
And pat yourself on the back. You made it through week one of 2016. One down, 51 more to go! {wink!}
