As Greeks celebrating Thanksgiving, people ask me all the time, “Do you eat turkey on Thanksgiving?” Yes! Of COURSE we do!… and stuffing, and I made a mean cranberry sauce (not the canned stuff), with all the fixins that come with traditional Thanksgiving. Now…. we DO throw in a few spanakopites and some tiropites, and MAYBE some feta cheese and olives, too! And depending on whose home you go to, you might get some pastichio on the side. And STILL, for an EXTRA meat, on the side for those who do not prefer turkey, you might find a side of lamb as an alternative meat selection.
A Thanksgiving as a Greek gal.
But in all seriousness, I’m thankful for so much!
and
and of course
and finally,
Happy Thanksgiving to my family and friends all over, near and far! Love you all SO much! I’m SUPER thankful to have all of YOU in my life!

I need to come to YOUR Thanksgiving! I’m not a traditional Thanksgiving girl at all. Those foods do nothing for me, but the lamb and Greek bites would have me happy as a clam!
Hope yours was beautiful!
