It’s that time of year again where all the feta-loving, baklava eating, music lovers come together and celebrate the Greek culture in Oklahoma City. Our 30th one!
Delicious homemade food… yes… all made here by hand…
From the dinner plate…
To one of many booths in the tent with MORE food.. gyros being OF COURSE one of the main ones, because no one makes it better than the Greeks do….
Buy some Greek groceries to take home from the Bakaliko (tell my mom and dad I sent you… that’s their station!)…
To imported gifts at the gift shop…
To a tour of our church
To all kinds of cookies and pastries…
Watch live performances by dance groups of all ages…
This is where you’ll find me… serving up the honey puffs….
And did I say HOMEMADE? ya…. that’s right… with lots of love….
And of course… it’s not the Greek Festival without family.
My apologies in advance for flooding my Instagram with lots of food and good times coming up this weekend. In case I make you hungry for some of this yumminess or want to partake in hearing the fabulous live Greek band and have a few cocktails, come out to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Friday – Sunday. All the details can be found HERE. If you go, share your pictures with us on your social media using #GreekFestOKC17 and you may be regrammed!
Until then, I’m taking a 3 day weekend.
OPA!
