Ok. I just have to say SOOOOOO good.
Thanksgiving might have passed yesterday, but that doesn’t mean that pumpkin treats need to end. This festive and OH so easy drink can be used in place of dessert. It’s been a while since I’ve posted something on the fancier side, but I was in the mood. I have a LOT to be thankful for and lot’s to celebrate. If you read my news yesterday HERE, things with my dad could have been worse. I said this deserves a HUGE toast. Is he sick? Yes. But will he be cured? Most likely. When you catch cancer early on, that IS good news.
So, I’m celebrating this tasty treat with you and as fancy as it looks, it’s EASY. I’m ALL about easy. Make it with alcohol for the adults or without for the kids. Enjoy this after a day of black Friday and all the shop local spots you hit.
Pumpkin Pie Martini
- Pumpkin Pie Egg Nog (I found at Walmart)
- Cake Vodka (I used it in THIS cocktail)
- Whipped Cream (I used the fat free in the can)
- Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Brown Sugar
- Graham Crackers or Gingersnaps, crushed (optional)
- Maple Syrup
Mix together on a small plate, a few tablespoons of brown sugar and ½ tsp. of pumpkin pie spice and crushed cookies. On a separate small plate pour a few tablespoons of maple syrup. Dip each martini glass rim into maple syrup then immediately into the brown sugar/spice mixture. Pour a shot of chilled cake vodka into the martini glass. Next pour in Pumpkin Pie Egg Nog and stir. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and serve.
Let me know what you think about this…. I’m telling you, TO DIE FOR.
Happy weekend lovers!
