Some people we “meet” through our experiences in various places and stages in our lives. This beautiful gal, “Lady Grace” and I connected way back when I first began blogging, and she was a relatively newbie as well. Her name was so fitting, she was and still is a lovely lady, in the true definition of the word, and always full of grace.
She has since stopped blogging as she felt it wasn’t her passion and really wanted to simply enjoy life for what it is. Fast forward some years ahead, and we still follow each other on social media, and this is one of her concoctions she was enjoying. It was so fresh and delightful sounding, I immediately said, “I need to share it! And I’m naming it after you!”
So I bring you, Lady Grace.
- Fresh Strawberries
- Fresh mint
- Champagne
Puree cold fresh strawberries and mint. Drizzle the puree in the bottom of your glass and pour champagne on top. As the bubbly settles, continue to add a bit more to fill the glass up to your desired amount. I prefer a sweeter champagne to go with the strawberries and mint. Garnish with a strawberry half.
It’s simple, understated, but full of flavor, full of class and style. That’s Lady Grace.
Since it also happens to be Easter weekend, this would make a fun alternative to the Mimosa. It’s easy, only a few ingredients, and refreshing.
So, what are you celebrating as a win for your #FuzzyFriday?
I have something AMAZING I’ve been working on up my sleeve and I’m DYING to tell you what it is! It’s launching VERY VERY VERY soon! So stay tuned. If you want to design your best life, you’ll want to keep following along!
Happy Weekend! Happy Easter!
