Happy Fuzzy Friday!
I wanted to share a winter drink with you, something that’s warm or warms you, but not a hot drink, something that has flavors of the season. So I’m sharing this butterscotch delight that’s definitely a sweet treat. You can make it as a martini and serve it in a martini glass, but Santa brought me these stemless champagne flutes for Christmas because he knows how much I love cocktail hour, especially here on The OP Life. No one said I must use these glasses for champagne only, right? I say break the rules, and use cute glasses like this however you please!
This drink is sweet, be forewarned. If you want to go a little less on the cream soda, do. Surprisingly, even shaking this drink, I thought it would fizz a lot, but it hardly did. So don’t worry about it exploding everywhere. It won’t.
Butterscotch Bliss
- 1 1/2 oz Vanilla vodka
- 1 1/2 Butterscotch schnapps
- 4 oz. Cream Soda
- 2 oz Sprite
Pour the vodka and butterscotch schnapps into a shaker with ice. Shake well. Add the cream soda and sprite and gently shake. Pour into your glass.

As we kick off the new year, I just want to encourage you to do what’s best for YOU when it comes to resolutions and fresh starts. Don’t do something because everybody’s doing it. Don’t do something because that’s “the trend”. Do YOU. And do what feels right. You know what that is if you look inward. I’m raising my glass to YOU!
Cheers to YOU and the new year!
