You might have seen or hear me say a thing or two about it on Facebook. Hosted by Women Recharged, Aprille Franks Hunt put on quite a shin-dig day….
I was humbled and honored to be asked to be on the success panel and amongst a part of such an amazing group of individuals who had so many great life stories to share of trials and tribulations, personal growth, and success as they overcame their adversities. Authors, Ph.D. scholars, entrepreneurs, all sharing gems of their lives with a room full of women desiring to experience greatness in their own lives.
The line up of exceptional speakers that would move you from tears to tearing it up… It was a day of inspiration, motivation, about dream building, belief building, about NEVER letting anyone tell you what you CAN’T do.

No matter where you come from, what you’ve experienced in your life, there is NO reason why you can’t be all that and a bag of chips. The only one from stopping you from all your greatness is YOU! It’s about changing the CANNOT’s into the CANs. It’s about forgiving yourself and letting go of everything that has held you back from being the BEST you you can be. It’s about bouncing back from your setbacks and dusting yourself off and getting ready for your next take in life.
You would not be who you are if you hadn’t been through what you had been through. If you don’t take care of YOU, you cannot take care of the others around you. (I’ve always said a happy mama makes for a happy family! ha!)

We heard how important it is to celebrate something everyday, no matter how small it is. Go outside your comfort zone. Because we’re always growing, we’re always setting the RESET button. Reinvention is a SEXY thing!
Comfort kills success. Get rid of those “blessings blockers” in your life. And truly everything we need is right under our feet. We need to relax on the how and act on the NOW!

Definitely a day of personal growth, a day full of defining moments, a day where the information was taken in and the transformations will hopefully begin.
It was invigorating, exciting, moving, goose bump-giving, eye opening, but it all led to one thing. This was about tapping into each person’s greatness within to be doing extraordinary things with our lives.
After all, if you really think about, isn’t that what it really means to be FABULOUS?
What are YOU going to do that is extraordinary? You have it in you to be all that … and then some.
