Part of growing up as a Greek girl means knowing instinctively that your role will end up in some way shape or form in the kitchen. It’s in our blood to cook and it’s in our blood to cook without recipes and it’s also in our blood to decipher recipes and figure them out without a pre-existing recipe.
Such is the case with my daughter, known as mini-me, also known as Honestly Margo. Because we all look at her and go, “Honestly.. MARGO????” hahaha!
Margo recently duplicated one very yummy Cookie Pie that she and her posse would eat at a local restaurant. She made it here last week for a few of her friends and they thought they were in heaven. She nailed it to a tee just by having it so frequently at this local restaurant. It was so insane good, like ALL of us couldn’t stop eating it, so much that the following night, a few requested THEIR OWN! Isn’t that just crazy?
So this post is dedicated to all my facebook friends who requested the recipe after sharing the picture. I ask two tiny favors.
- PIN this recipe for me!
- SHARE this post so your friends can see as well!
I told her everyone was like RECIPE PLEASE! She said to me it’s not that hard! I said I know… so share it away! So without further adieu, here’s Honestly Margo’s Cookie Pie.
PIN it!
Honestly Margo’s Cookie Pie
- Chocolate Chip Cookie dough
- Vanilla Ice Cream
- Chocolate Hot Sauce (in a jar)
Spray a pie pan with Pam and press the cookie dough into the pan. Bake at 350 until it looks cooked, (Because that’s how Greeks do it) depending on your pan, anywhere from 10-15 minutes. Remove pan from the oven and top with vanilla ice cream. Heat your chocolate sauce in the microwave and drizzle on top.
Insane good.
You’re welcome.
Diet begins TOMORROW! {wink}
