Thanks to my new favorite source of things to cook, Pinterest provided me with a YUMMY recipe for dinner this week.
I can’t take credit for this recipe….. I only pinned it. Some awesome chic created this. And I forgot to take pics until after I served up one whole tenderloin and said to myself, “self, these peeps GOTTA try this!”…. and it was then that I grabbed my camera.
Crockpot Brown Sugar Balsamic Glazed Pork Tenderloin
- 1 teaspoon ground sage
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 pounds pork tenderloin
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Rub all the seasonings on the pork tender loins. Pour the 1/2 cup water in the crockpot. Place the seasoned meat in the pot and place on auto. Cover and let set cooking for 4 – 5 hours. Then, in a saucepan, combine the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 4 – 5 min until it thickens and creates a sauce. Remove the pork from the crock pot and place in a pan in the oven on broil, brushing some of the sauce on top of the meat. Let it sit in the oven for about 5 minutes to create a coating on top of the meat. Serve with the extra sauce on the side.
SO yum. I made DOUBLE sauce because I’m a saucy kinda gal. {wink!} And the instructions above is how I prepared it. Just a few slight tweaks from the pinned recipe.
And the meat was almost like pulled pork. I went to pull it out of the pot and it melted off of the fork. SO YUM!
My favorite part? It was EASY! Finding a crockpot recipe that is YUMMY and easy and that the gang loves? That’s a home run!

I’ve made this before, but it was so much better with the sauce made separately. Thank you.

I made the sauce separately, only put a little glaze on top before popping it in the oven to glaze the top a bit. … and I made extra sauce too! 😉
