Rebecca Taylor Swing Dress

Last week for the #FirstThursdaysFashionShow, I was going to be wearing an outfit from On A Whim. They have some of my favorite brands, like alice + olivia, Rebecca Taylor, AG Jeans, Splendid, Rebecca Minkoff, Cynthia Vincent to name a few. Well, the plan was to wear something a little more on the edgy side, but I then got the message that I would be one of the emcees. Sooooooo I decided to get back to a classic considering my new role. Not that the other was bad, but I felt “safer” in a classic. So here’s where you can never go wrong with a little black dress…

We selected a Rebecca Taylor swing dress that had that playful skirt with an edgy leather detail. We paired it with accessories from Lulu Frost, a cuff and earrings. Of course, we can never go wrong with a LBD, right?

Thank you to Victor Harris for this shot of me… for this fashion show, I got the fun opportunity to be on the other end of the stage, unable to capture all the amazing fashions of our fabulous local boutiques. A great evening it was for all who participated.
