Whiter Teeth

This is one of those simple posts that makes you say WOW how simple is that. Truly it is, and I didn’t realize I was doing it until so many people had pointed out my teeth to me.

I have never had them professionally whitened. Had used white strips LOOOOOONG ago, like really LONG ago. So that’s not what the key is to this simple easy beauty secret that ANYONE can use, literally ANYONE. Are you ready?

My toothpaste that I feel gets the job done…..

and HOT WATER. That’s it. Instead of turning on the faucet to COLD, turn it to the HOT side. Now, don’t burn your mouth doing this, but make it as warm as you can take it. Here’s my logic on it….

1. Our teeth are porous.

2. When we put heat on porous things, the pores open and absorb what is being put on it.

3. If you have whitening toothpaste, it THEREFORE makes sense it will turn your teeth whiter, faster, just as your teeth might have turned yellow-ish due to your HOT coffee {ding ding! LIGHTBULB!}. Or even think about smokers teeth… the smoke is WARM going into the mouth, correct??? {ding ding! Another LIGHTBULB!}

I’ve never been a huge coffee drinker, so it hasn’t been a huge issue for me. I just always like my pearly whites as WHITE and sparkly as they can be.

I mentioned what I’ve been doing to my hygienist and dear friend Jillian, and she agreed, and was like DUH??? LIGHTBULB! OF COURSE!
