The name “Ashlar” was known as the way of laying bricks in the 1900’s in a way so as the imperfectly cut bricks would create a perfect straight structure. Their designers saw the raw beauty of the natural stones used in this collection, the rough edges and gradations in the stones inspired them to create beauty out of something slight imperfect. And, their pieces are handmade. Isn’t that VERY cool? I LOVE that!!! The bracelets are constructed of hand dyed silk thread (macramé) and hand dyed silk fabric. The stones are naturally occurring and vary in size and shape and are finished with gold and silver vermeil.
