What's In My Bag - The OP Life

Yesterday I talked about velvet bags for this season. And I told you today I’d be sharing what’s INSIDE my bag. You guys see what’s on the outside and what I carry around with me, so I thought I’d show you what’s on the INSIDE. What exactly is in my bag? These are the basics, the staples.

First, I’m making it a point to not carry bags TOO big. I’m not very tall, so carrying a huge oversized bag isn’t my favorite thing unless I’m traveling. So for that reason, I try to keep my things to a bare minimum. Makes sense?

First up, my wallet.

Why did I invest in a “wallet on a chain”? Because it’s truly more than a wallet. It fits my phone, my lipstick, my mints, my hairtie, my business cards… Because when I don’t want to take my bag, I can simply take my wallet on a chain and be done. Mine is sold out but I found a few others that are super nice!

2. My mobile charger. Ok EVERYONE needs one of these, and this one is SUPER lightweight and carrys a crazy long charge. I’m not kidding. And YES it fits in my wallet too!

3. Hair tie and clippie for my hair. Because you know…. ya. I can be a hot mess, right?

4. Altoids. The tiny ones. Because.

5. Sunglasses. Different ones depending on my moods. Again… because.

6. Reading glasses. I’ve reached that age. Sigh. Let’s not go there…. (ha!)

7. My Arbonne energy drink. If I’m out and about and I need a pick-me-up, this is my go to thing. It gives me a boost of energy while giving me B-Vitamins, it decreases my appetite, AND it’s so yummy!

8. An eyebrow pencil that I use a lip liner. I swear by it. Maybe I look like clown lips, but I feel like it’s closest to my flesh color than a pink, red or peach lip liner. The color I use is HAZEL.

9. My lipstick. I LOVE it. It’s SO creamy and the perfect color, Creme D’ Nude.

10. This lipgloss. it has the right about of pigment and it’s so glossy and creamy! I go back and forth between 2 colors, but I’m thinking I need some of these others. I layer it on top of my lipstick OR wear it alone with my liner.

11. Serenity. Ok. OMG. This is a little MIRACLE worker. It’s a balm that’s loaded with menthol, eucalyptus, peppermint, and all kinds of other good things that feel awesome on my temples, forehead, beneath my nose. It’s perfect for headaches, tension, stress relief, just an added boost of AHHHH! It’s literally SERENITY!

12. Sophia Tinted Lip Balm. For when I don’t want TONS of color but want a hint of it and still look natural. Organic ingredients and it feels AMAZING on.

As for my bags themselves, the brown suede one I got last year and the Gucci was a special #treatyoself kind of a thing I did for the hard work I put in this summer. These will probably be my two most carried bags this upcoming season unless I pull any others out. I am a collector with my bags. I love to collect them. We each have our guilty pleasures. I guess bags is mine!
