10 Wardrobe Essentials For Every Fashionista

I wanted to kick off the year in posts with something OTHER than resolutions. We hear about resolutions ALL the time. I may still touch on the topic of resolutions, but I know one topic everyone here loves: FASHION!

So I’m starting the year off with wardrobe essentials. If you plan on doing any decluttering and closet reorganization for the new year and want to start with a clean slate for your wardrobe, here is my list of things you need in your closet that you can wear anyplace, anytime, anywhere you go.

These are basics you can dress up or down, mix and match, take one of each when you travel, and you can be set. The only thing missing is accessories, which is the cherry on top of your look. Dress down a simple black dress with simple jewelry or dress it up for an evening’s event with glam and rhinestones. Whatever you decide, these pieces will be your basics you’ll have that are every fashionista’s staples. What I love about these pieces is that no matter what the trends are, you’ll always be stylish and fashionable. You’re not wearing things that are so 20xx year.

I prefer investing in a great bag that’s been used in great condition. Think about a luxury car. Would you buy it straight off of the car lot? Or would you most likely buy it used but in great shape? That is my same philosophy with bags. You can wear inexpensive, yet a classic outfit, but your bag will take your whole look up a notch.
