I don’t know about you, but when I go shopping, I want to be pretty comfortable, but still have some style. And I’m not talking shopping for groceries. I’m talking those days that you know you’ll be trying things on. There is nothing more tiresome or frustrating when you’re in a fitting room and you have all these things to do and undo, shoes that are hard to take off and on… such a pain. And discovering this AFTER the fact while you’re knee deep in stores and dresses is exhausting.
So I put together this little look for those days when we want to shop, have a touch of fabulousness to us, but we can whip these pieces off super fast to start trying clothes on. And getting dressed is easy as one, two, three! Today I’m mixing comfort and style.
I put together a basic tunic I got from Nordstrom Rack with some simple black leggings. Paired this with little MiuMiu booties that I scored from my local fave Balliet’s, along with this Halston Heritage bag from Balliet’s as well. The detail on the booties with the bow is slight but just enough to give a little fun to the basic black and white. Try this with any of your shoes that might have some unique accent to them.
What do you wear when you go shopping and know you’ll be living in the fitting room?
