Dressing up in the cold isn’t my favorite. I do love to dress up but I don’t enjoy being cold. So I pulled together the fun Nicole Miller swing dress, perfect for us curvy girls and so popular this year, with tights and booties. Keep my legs WARM! I’m also really loving simple colors and monochromatic schemes. So the grays and blacks all flow together. The winter white coat pops, and I think everyone needs a white coat for the winter months. For my final touch, my vintage Paloma Picasso bag my mom got me eons ago. I never throw out classic good pieces. It might not be super fancy now, but it was pretty fabulous back in the day and it’s a special bag, so I pulled it out. And mom loved seeing me carry it!
Let the accessories pop. The large cuff and necklace made their statements.
So when it’s cold out, wear a dress you’re comfortable in, some tights, shoes that make you feel confident, wrap yourself up in a warm coat, and you’re set. Out to a dinner, to a Sunday brunch, a holiday party, you can’t go wrong with a classic look like this.
