I’m trying oh so hard to pull myself away from the fruity drinks, because you all know I love my drinks sweet and fruity.
And frankly, this week, I just frankly don’t have time for fancy schmancy. Know what I mean? It’s been one of those crazy weeks, not like there are many that AREN’T crazy, but you know. You get it. And on top of it, this weekend I have to be in two cities at once. So ya. I want a cocktail. I need a drink! HA! And something fast and easy and GOOD.
Think “rum and Coke” or “Crown and Coke” or “Malibu and Diet Coke”… this has that “two ingredient combo” like those do, with fall kick to it with the spiced rum combined with the ginger in the ginger ale. This is one of those cocktails that doesn’t feel so fancy, but it’s a refreshing easy mixed drink to throw together in a flash, just with simple twist on the two ingredients. Those others are so common, so this is a little different variation.
Ginger Spice
- 2 ounces spiced rum
- ginger ale
- ice
Pour spiced rum over ice in highball glass. Fill with ginger ale.
Celebrate all of your successes, all of the challenges you over came. Big or small. They’re all WINS, and you deserve to celebrate them all. Cheers to you, to finishing this week, and to the upcoming weekend!
