In case you hadn’t heard about the chaos this weekend, it was chaos. And it sounds as bad if not worse than a Black Friday but with cheerful prints, pom poms, giraffes and palm trees.
So I have a few ideas for you to get what you missed in case you were one of the people that didn’t get what you wanted. I can’t guarantee that you will find what you want, but I know it worked for me with one of the things I wanted.
So here are my tips on how to get what you missed out on.
Just an added note… NONE of my tips involve Ebay. Although people can do what they wish, I say good luck to the Ebayers out there. I’m not sure if they took economics, but I remember taking it in college, and if demand out weighs supply, then the price goes up, but to pay $400 for a maxi dress that was originally $44 just days before, I’d say good luck with that. Let us know how that works out for you… because there always is the ORIGINAL Lilly Pulitzer. Right? Those maxi dresses are around $200. Just my two cents.
If “Palm beach is a state of mind”, then what state of minds were we in this weekend! LOL! I will say, I DID manage to get a few things I wanted online at 2 something in the morning after HOURS of endless attempts, still staying awake to try for more. When I finally made it to my Target at 4 pm after traveling all day, I pulled into the parking lot like a crazy person, and went running in as if the boogie man was chasing after me. My daughter was mortified embarrassed but got to see the REAL shopper in action. As if I was going to find anything left? Not so much.
In case you missed how all of this went down, here’s a recap from Mashable.
