As much as I’d like to make it to the gym daily, the reality is the fact that I just don’t always have the time. And yes I know there are LOTS of things I can do without going to the gym, but I still NEED THE TIME! For me personally, here are my excuses (because I’m keeping it real here people… ):
- * Drive time back and forth to the gym
- * I want to rinse off after and pretty up if I have people to see
- * I can’t concentrate and enjoy it for what it is if I have a plate full of things going on that need my attention (because remember I wear many hats… as do many of us.)
Call them “excuses”. Call them “justifications”. Me wake up at 5 or 6 am to go drive somewhere to exercise is not going to happen. It just isn’t. I go to bed late because I get a lot of my quiet thinking time then (I’m an intellect, remember? See that HERE.), so then that rules out the early morning thing.
So then what in the world am I going to do to get this body of mine toned and in some kinda shape?
A five minute workout I can do at home, no equipment, literally, like after I wake up or even in the evening is something that IS doable. All you need is some kind of timer/stopwatch and you’re golden.
