Laptops have contributed to my demise this past year or so. I am coming clean and admitting it. They say admitting your problem is the frist step, right? HA! I haven’t really had a “problem” per se, but I had some health issues and a bit of depression with deaths I’ve had to deal with, so I’ve been working literally “from bed”.

To get a better understanding of the situation, I’ve had this dilemma about all the nice woodwork in the room that I had this “guilt” of painting it and “ruining it”. I tried to work around it when I fixed it several years ago and made it my “pink space” but it never really quite did it for me. Now, I’m totally and FINALLY OVER it. OVER that damn brown wood! HA! So I figured it was time for a change. I need to make a change. What I love most about this situation is that it has SO much more to do about LIFE more than decor. Nothing is going to change unless you recognize it’s TIME for change and then you decide to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Make sense?
Back to decor…
I need to get back to the place that’s going to be the best for what I need. Work. #Werk. Bed isn’t for work! LOL!
When you’re figuring out the space you’re in, make sure
- it enables you to be productive vs hinders your production with distractions
- is comfortable to your taste and liking
- is condusive to the type of work you do (ex: does it allow for creativity, free flow thinking or does it feel restrictive and constrained)

Can’t wait to see the finished result! I struggle with being able to take my laptop anywhere too! I have an office but my desk is too small. Maybe once I see your finished office it will push me to buy a new one!
I know, right? Our laptop makes life easy but it can be so distracting! ha!
