We are one human race. And as cliche as it sounds, love conquers all. If people feel love in their hearts, there is no room for hatred. I can’t even put into words the sadness and emptiness I feel for what is going on in this world.
Life wasn’t like this 20 years ago, 30 years ago, was it? I don’t seem to recall murders and killings the way things are happening in this day and age.
Has all of our technology allowed so much access to so much information that it’s so easy for these things to occur? Do people not really think that those lives that are being taken are fathers, sons, husbands, daughters, sisters? I wonder how people who create these acts and crimes would feel if their loved ones were taken senselessly. But then again… I don’t think they feel. I don’t think they feel.
As corney as it sounds, what the world needs now is love sweet love. That is all I have to say today. Hug your loved ones. Today more than any time in the world, kindness, patience, and love is so needed and makes the biggest difference.
The world needs to come together in one big kumbaya. We are one. We, a human race, is one. Let’s come together and have a little love, show a little love. Spread a little love.
