This.
Put on your big girl panties. By big girl panties I mean the ones that have a little extra stretchy room in them because you’re gonna need it after trying this.
I know I talk about healthy living, but I also talk about living life and having fun. And lately I’ve had a mini obsession with unicorns, (LONG before Starbucks came out with their drink BTW, I just haven’t been that vocal about it!). So I created this dip for a July 4th party I had to go to (patriotic, right????). All I knew what that I wanted to dive HEAD FIRST into this!
As far as the pictures are concerned… Yes, they’re not the most beautiful images sharing it served oh so beautifully, but it was served up in a disposable pan so I could take it and forget about bringing home my dish. Because I’m OP (On Purpose) on enjoying a good time with friends and not worrying about getting my tupperware back home!
Also, this recipe IS doubled fyi. This was for a good sized crowd. You can cut it in half. But I was literally documenting is as I prepared it.
Ok unicorns… feast your eyes on this….
PIN IT so you can always reference it!
Unicorn Cake Dip
- 6 oz milk
- 2 light cream cheese
- 2 funfetti cake
- 2 free cool whip
With a handheld mixer, combined softened cream cheese and cake mix. Fold in cool whip and add milk alternately, until you get it to the consistency you desire. Break apart a portion of the dough and add a few drops of red food coloring. In another bowl do the same with blue. Bring the two back together and swirl them together. Put in the refrigerator for a few hours. Before serving, add whatever sprinkles you may have in your pantry. Because when it comes to unicorns, there are no rules on too many sprinkles!
I think mine could have used a bit more milk, but it still was AMAZING! My kids couldn’t keep out of licking the bowl when I was done. Side note… if you use sugar crystal sprinkles, they will melt in the refrigerator, so save them for last.
Serve with graham crackers, animal crackers or even Nilla Wafers.
Ok unicorns… go off and make this magical concoction. It’s pretty dreamy if you ask me!
